We are all volunteers who receive no compensation for our efforts other than educating the public, caring for Great Pyrenees dogs in need and helping to permanently place them in forever homes. ARK has rehabilitated and released over 30,000. We oppose the breeding and selling of parrots through pet stores, bird. We provide education and support to parrot guardians and the general public. Through our adoption program, we strive to place parrots in new loving homes. Since we cannot be everywhere, our goal is to help you. With more than 1,000 calls per year, we realized there was a need to provide more resources to caring individuals like you who may have just rescued an injured bird. We take in orphaned and injured native Virginia wildlife for rehabilitation and release them back into their natural habitat. Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit society whose purpose is to provide rescue and protection for parrots. Urban Bird Foundation has been rescuing birds for over a decade in urban and suburban environments across the United States. We are affiliated with the Great Pyrenees Club of America (GPCA). ARK is a federally recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization consisting of an all volunteer network of State and Federally licensed wildlife rehabilitators. AGPR is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. Henrico Humane Society is an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization that rescues dogs and cats from across Central Virginia and places them in.
